Both the beginner practice and band practice for tomorrow night have been cancelled.
The band has a conflicting engagement getting tickets ready for the circus and I will be tied up at work.
Next week we should be back to normal.

We will be having a full band practice Thursday night at 7pm at the Great Falls Scottish Rite.

Update on St. Patrick’s Day Parade
The time on the original post is incorrect. The parade will actually start at 1:30 PM. Because of this the band will need to meet at 1 PM at the Civic Center.

2012 St. Patrick’s Day Parade
The Great Falls Shrine Pipe Band will be participating in the St. Patrick’s day parade tomorrow, 3/17/2012 at 3pm.
The band will be meeting at 2:30pm at the Civic Center. The uniform for the day will be spats, diced hose, kilt, horse hair sporran, green (or red for drummers) coat, belt and cross belt, plaid and Glen Garry; or in other words, battle dress with Glen Garry.

Problem with this evenings practice
For those who came to practice this evening and found the building locked up, you were there at the right time, I was just tied up at work.
I’m sorry for the inconvenience but it couldn’t be avoided.
