The Great Falls Shrine Pipe Band will be participating in the East – West Shrine Game parade in Butte this coming Saturday, July 20, 2013.

The band will be meeting at 6:45am at the Great Falls Scottish Rite..

The uniform for the day will be spats, diced hose, kilt, horse hair sporran, belt, white shirt and Glen Garry.

We are going to be short on pipes and drums, so if you can make it, please come and help.

We look forward to seeing everyone there!

The band is going to try to make the parade in Butte this coming Saturday for the Montana East – West Shrine Game. The parade starts at 10am with the line-up at 9:30am.

The parade route will be through Uptown Butte and will start on East Broadway, go south on Montana, East on Galena, north on Main, then east on Park.

The band is planning on leaving Great Falls that morning and at this point, some are planning on staying for the game while others will be returning to Great Falls that afternoon.

For those wondering, the football game has gates open at 5pm and the kickoff at 7pm.

There are a lot of details to be hammered out at the practice this coming Thursday night, so please try and attend. If you won’t be able to make the practice, but can make the parade, please let me know and I’ll make sure to keep you updated.
