Due to the high winds forecasted for this afternoon the band’s participation in the parade has been cancelled.

St Patrick’s Day Parade Update
Since the weather forecast is looking pretty good for Thursday, we will be marching in the parade.
We will meet on the south side of the Civic Center at 3pm. Uniform will be full dress with plaids (battle dress) with glengarrys.
We are in desperate need of drummers as one of our regular snare drummers is hurt, leaving us with only the base drum. So if you can make it we would greatly appreciate it!
Chanter Practice 3/14/2011
We will be having chanter practice this coming Monday night at the Great Falls Scottish Rite.
We will have band practice at 7pm and will work on the new tune if enough band members attend.
We will have beginner lessons starting at 7:30. Please try to make it or let me know by email if you will be unable to attend. We will be discussing where everyone is currently in their learning process so we can structure future lessons accordingly.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Great Falls – 3/17/2011
Weather permitting, the band will be participating in the Great Falls St. Patrick’s Day parade.
Those attending should meet at 3pm on the south side of the Civic Center.
The uniform is full dress including plaids. Headdress will be the glengarry.
As the parade date gets closer and the weather forecast firms up we will make a final decision on if we will parade. Please check back on Wednesday next week for the determination.
Bagpipe Band Practice 3/10/2011
We will be having a full band practice Thursday night at 7pm at the Great Falls Scottish Rite. (Weather permitting, the practice may be moved outside to the Mausoleum.)

Chanter Practice 3/7/2012
We will be having chanter practice on Monday night at the Great Falls Scottish Rite.
We will have a session for band members at 7pm followed by the beginner session at 7:30.
Great Falls Shrine Pipeband Buisness Meeting 3/1/2011
The stated business meeting will be this coming Tuesday at 6:30pm.
