Due to my confusion over when the parade started, the original post had the wrong time to meet at the Scottish Rite.

The correct time will be 10am at the Scottish Rite.

The band will be participating in the parade in Power this coming Saturday, 9/17/2011.

We will be meeting at the Scottish Rite at 9:30am to car-pool up to Power.

The uniform for the day will be full military dress with glen garry’s (spats, colored hose, kilt, tunic, belt and cross belt, plaids).

I look forward to seeing everyone there as this is most likely the last parade of the year and it looks like it should be good weather!

We will be meeting at 8th and Central at 10:30pm for Great Fall’s 4th of July parade.

Uniform for the day will be white shirts, spats, diced hose, horse hair sporran, kilt and glengarry.

After all of the rain, its time for the first parade of the year!

We are in desperate need of drummers for this parade. Rory really wanted to participate but he is still healing up and just can’t do a parade at this time. We should have one drummer coming but it would be very helpful to have at least two so that we could have both a base and snares.

We could also use a few more pipers. We have four but its always better to have at least six.

We will be meeting at the Great Falls Scottish Rite to car-pool out to Belt. Please be at the Scottish Rite by 9:30am so that we can be out to Belt by 10:30am. The parade starts at 11am and should be starting from the first road on the right after you go under the railroad tracks coming into town.

Uniform for the day will be Glengarry, white shirt, kilt, horse hair sporran, diced socks and spats. Please bring your tan pipeband jackets on the off chance that it is cool or rains.

Due to the high winds forecasted for this afternoon the band’s participation in the parade has been cancelled.

Since the weather forecast is looking pretty good for Thursday, we will be marching in the parade.

We will meet on the south side of the Civic Center at 3pm. Uniform will be full dress with plaids (battle dress) with glengarrys.

We are in desperate need of drummers as one of our regular snare drummers is hurt, leaving us with only the base drum. So if you can make it we would greatly appreciate it!

Weather permitting, the band will be participating in the Great Falls St. Patrick’s Day parade.

Those attending should meet at 3pm on the south side of the Civic Center.

The uniform is full dress including plaids. Headdress will be the glengarry.

As the parade date gets closer and the weather forecast firms up we will make a final decision on if we will parade. Please check back on Wednesday next week for the determination.

The band will be going to Dutton this coming Saturday.

We will leaving from the Scottish Rite at 10am.

The band will be meeting at the Scottish Rite at 10:30 and then car pooling to Belt.
